Every safe performance gain is already available in your phone's own settings. None of it requires installing a booster app, rooting the device, or granting extra permissions to a third-party tool.
The pre-match routine
Two minutes of preparation prevents most stutters.

Heat is the hard limit
Frame drops that appear after ten minutes are thermal. Remove thick cases and avoid playing in direct sunlight.
Storage and RAM management specifically
Free Fire caches a meaningful amount of data during a session, and a phone under about 10% free storage often shows longer load times between the lobby and the plane. Clearing unused apps and old screenshots before a ranked session is a concrete, checkable step, not a vague tip.
Network settings that affect stutter, not just fps
Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data mid-match can cause a brief freeze as the connection re-establishes. If your Wi-Fi signal is weak in the room you usually play in, mobile data with a stable signal often gives steadier ping than a weak Wi-Fi connection, even if the advertised Wi-Fi speed is higher.
Android-specific developer options
Disabling animation scale in Developer Options (window, transition and animator duration scale set to off) reduces small system-level delays when switching apps, which can shorten the gap between closing background apps and Free Fire regaining full performance.
iOS-specific steps
On iPhone, Low Power Mode caps background activity and can also throttle performance in some games, so disable it before a ranked session rather than leaving it on and blaming the game for a low frame rate.
Skip booster apps
They mostly close background tasks — which your device already does — while adding their own overhead and permissions.
What optimization cannot fix
None of these steps raise the ceiling of a chipset that is simply too old to run Free Fire at higher frame rate settings, and none of them stop a battery that has degraded to the point of thermal throttling under any load. At some point the honest answer is that the device itself has reached its limit.
