Free Fire Sensitivity Values Explained
Six sliders, six different jobs. Knowing which slider owns which problem is the difference between fixing your aim and randomly moving numbers.
General
General controls camera movement when you are not aiming down any sight — looking around, turning to face a sound, tracking someone while hip-firing.
Too low and you cannot turn fast enough to answer someone behind you. Too high and every small thumb movement swings the camera, which destroys close-range hip-fire control. It is the value most worth getting right first.
Red Dot
Red Dot governs aiming through a red dot or holographic sight — the sight most close and mid-range fights are decided with.
This is the primary value behind consistent drag shots. If your head-level drags either stop short of the head or fly past it, Red Dot is the slider to touch, not General.
2X Scope
2X is the mid-range workhorse: close enough that fights are still fast, zoomed enough that small errors are visible.
Players who feel accurate up close but shaky at medium range usually have a 2X value that is too high relative to their Red Dot.
4X Scope
At 4X, magnification amplifies every input. A value that feels fine at Red Dot can feel uncontrollable here.
4X rewards lower values and longer, slower drags. If you cannot hold a target steady while firing, reduce it before blaming recoil.
AWM / Sniper Scope
The sniper scope is the highest magnification in the game, used for single, deliberate shots rather than tracking.
Most players want this comparatively low. Your goal is a stable hold and a small correction, not a fast sweep across the screen.
Free Look
Free Look controls the look-around camera you use while running without changing your direction of travel.
It affects information, not aim. Rotating players and anyone who checks their back while running benefits from a comfortable, fairly quick Free Look.
Which value to change for which problem
Use the symptom to pick the slider instead of adjusting everything at once.
- Overshooting heads in close fights → Red Dot
- Cannot turn fast enough when flanked → General
- Mid-range shots drift off target → 2X Scope
- Cannot hold a target while scoped → 4X Scope
- Sniper shots feel twitchy → AWM Scope
- Awkward checking behind you while running → Free Look
Why there is no universal best set
Anyone publishing one number set as correct for every player is ignoring screen size, refresh rate, frame stability, thumb length, grip and finger setup. All of those change how far a given swipe travels.
That is the whole reason the generator asks about your device instead of handing out a single popular configuration.
Questions about this guide
No. Maxed General helps fast turns but reduces fine control, especially on high refresh rate screens.
