Free Fire Sensitivity Troubleshooting
Find your symptom, apply one fix, then test before changing anything else. Most sensitivity problems have a single cause, and changing several values at once hides it.
My aim feels too fast
You overshoot heads and correct backwards, especially in close fights.
- Lower General by five points and retest
- If only scoped aim overshoots, lower 2X and 4X instead
- Check your refresh rate answer in the generator — a wrong answer here causes exactly this
- Avoid fixing it by aiming slower; fix the number
My aim feels too slow
You run out of thumb travel, or you cannot turn to face someone behind you in time.
- Raise General by five points first
- Raise Free Look if the problem is checking your surroundings, not aiming
- Leave scope values alone until turn speed feels right
Red Dot feels unstable
Unstable red dot aim is usually a Red Dot value slightly too high for your device, or a drag motion that changes distance every time.
Lower Red Dot by five, then practise the same drag repeatedly on a static target for three minutes before judging.
2X Scope feels difficult
If close range is fine but mid range drifts, your 2X is too high relative to Red Dot. Bring them closer together and retest at a fixed distance.
4X Scope feels difficult
Magnification amplifies both your input and any frame instability. Lower 4X first; if it is still unstable, the cause is frame rate rather than sensitivity.
AWM feels uncomfortable
Sniper scope is for a stable hold and a small correction. If it feels twitchy, reduce it more than you think is necessary — most players run it lower than every other value.
Generated sensitivity doesn't feel right
First check that your inputs were accurate, especially refresh rate and finger setup. A wrong answer there shifts the whole set.
If the inputs were right, adjust one value at a time. The generated set is a starting point in a sensible range, not a fixed prescription.
Touch feels delayed
Delay is rarely a sensitivity problem. Work through the device causes first.
- Close background apps and restart the game
- Lower the graphics preset one level
- Remove a thick screen protector if input feels muted
- Check whether a power-saving mode is limiting the display
FPS drops while playing
Frame drops make a fixed sensitivity feel variable, which is the most confusing symptom of all. Reduce graphics settings, let the device cool, and avoid charging while playing.
Tune your values only once frames are stable, otherwise you are tuning against a moving target.
Settings feel different after an update
Game updates can change performance, and system updates can change display or touch behaviour. Before re-tuning everything, play two sessions to confirm the difference is real.
If it is real, adjust in small steps from your existing set rather than starting from zero.

About five points. Larger jumps make it impossible to tell what helped.
