Sensitivity Converter

Free Fire settings explained

Reference page

Copying sensitivity values one-to-one between devices almost never works. This page explains how to convert them sensibly when you change phones.

Why a direct copy fails

Sensitivity is only one part of the equation. Refresh rate, touch sampling, screen size and frame stability all change how far the camera travels for the same swipe.

The conversion rules that work

Adjust in one direction at a time and test between each change.

  • Moving to a higher refresh rate: reduce values roughly 5–10%
  • Moving to a lower refresh rate: raise values roughly 5–10%
  • Moving to a larger screen (phone to tablet): raise General
  • Moving from Android to iOS: reduce scope values first

Safest approach

Run the generator with the new device details, then nudge individual values toward your old feel. That keeps the device-appropriate baseline while preserving your muscle memory.

Step-by-step conversion on a real phone

Install Free Fire on the new device, set frame rate and graphics first, then enter both old and new device details into the generator to get two baselines. Play five matches using the new baseline before changing anything, since your hand needs time to adapt to a different screen size regardless of the numbers.

Common mistakes when switching devices

The most frequent error is converting sensitivity but leaving the old HUD layout untouched; a button placed for a 6-inch screen sits in a different spot relative to your thumb on a 6.7-inch one, which shows up as accidental crouches or missed fire taps that get blamed on sensitivity. Another mistake is judging the new set inside one chaotic match instead of training ground, where recoil and panic make every setting feel wrong.

What to check in game settings

After moving devices, re-check frame rate cap, graphics quality and the gyroscope toggle, since Free Fire does not always carry these forward identically across app reinstalls, especially between Android and iOS builds.

Where conversion breaks down

If you are moving from a phone to an emulator or vice versa, none of the percentage rules above apply, because emulators read input through a mouse-to-touch translation layer rather than a finger on glass. Treat that as a completely separate setup rather than a converted one.
