Common Free Fire Sensitivity Mistakes
These are the patterns that keep players cycling through settings for months. Each one has a straightforward fix.
Copying settings from a different device
A value tuned on a 120Hz flagship behaves differently on a 60Hz mid-ranger, and differently again on a tablet. The numbers are not portable even between two good phones.
Fix: generate a baseline for your own device, and use anyone else's numbers only as a rough sanity check.
Maxing every slider
Maximum values feel powerful for a minute and then amplify every tremor, every stutter and every rushed swipe.
Fix: keep General high if you like, but bring scope values down until you can stop precisely on a target.
Changing several values at once
If four sliders moved and the result is worse, you have learned nothing about any of them.
Fix: one value, five points, three to five matches.
Judging a change after one match
Match variance is larger than a five-point sensitivity change. One good or bad game proves nothing.
Fix: give every change a short but honest trial before deciding.
Blaming sensitivity for other problems
Several very different problems produce 'my aim feels off'.
- Frame drops and thermal throttling
- A fire button you have to stretch for
- High ping affecting hit registration
- A worn or thick screen protector
- Fatigue at the end of a long session
Ignoring Free Look and HUD
Players spend hours on scope values and never set Free Look or fix a cramped HUD, both of which affect more fights than a five-point 4X change.
Fix: set the HUD and Free Look once, properly, before micro-tuning anything else.
Expecting settings to replace practice
No configuration produces headshots on its own. Settings make your input consistent; consistency makes practice effective.
Fix: lock in a fitting setup and spend the saved time on aim drills and positioning.

Often the phone is throttling later in sessions, or your grip has changed. Check conditions before changing numbers.
