Drag Headshot Sensitivity Guide
Drag headshots are a technique, not a setting. Sensitivity decides how far your drag travels; your timing and practice decide whether it lands. This guide covers both halves honestly.
What the technique actually is
A drag headshot means starting your aim at body level and pulling the crosshair upward onto the head as you fire, rather than pre-aiming at head height and waiting.
It works because bodies are easier to acquire than heads at speed. The upward drag is a short, repeatable motion you can train, while a precise head-level snap is not.
Which values matter
General affects the hip-fire drag. Red Dot affects the same motion while aiming down a red dot sight, which is where most drag headshots happen at close range.
The value needs to be high enough that a short thumb movement covers body-to-head, but low enough that you can stop on the head instead of sailing over it. That balance point is personal.

A practice routine
Use training mode with a stationary target first. Start aim at the chest, fire and drag up in one motion, and repeat until the motion is the same every time. Only then move to strafing targets.
Fifteen focused minutes a day beats two hours once a week. You are building a motor pattern, and motor patterns respond to frequency.
- Stationary target, close range, one weapon only
- Same weapon and same distance for a full session
- Moving target once the stationary version is consistent
- Then casual matches, then ranked
What settings cannot do
No sensitivity value guarantees headshots, and any site that claims otherwise is overselling. Free Fire has no aim assist that a slider unlocks, and hit registration depends on ping and movement as well as your aim.
Treat generated values as a consistent starting point that makes practice productive — that is the real benefit.
Weapon differences
Recoil pattern, fire rate and range all change how a drag feels. A short-range shotgun rewards a fast coarse drag; an SMG at medium range rewards a slower controlled one.
Practise the drag separately for the two or three weapons you actually use rather than expecting one motion to transfer everywhere.
