Device Performance Guide

Free Fire settings explained

Reference page

Consistent performance is what makes a sensitivity set trustworthy. This guide covers each device tier.

Entry tier (2–4GB RAM)

Use standard graphics and the high frame rate option, keep storage free, and close all background apps. Aim for stable rather than high frames.

Mid tier (6–8GB RAM)

You can usually hold high graphics with a high frame rate. Watch for throttling after ten minutes and remove thick cases.

Flagship & gaming phones

Enable performance mode, use the highest frame rate the game offers, and tune scope sensitivity tightly since your frames will not drift.

Testing your tier's settings on a real phone

After picking a graphics and frame rate combination for your tier, play three matches back to back with the in-game FPS counter on, noting the lowest point in each match. If the lowest point in match three is noticeably worse than match one, that points to heat build-up rather than the settings choice itself.

Common mistakes across tiers

Entry-tier players often chase the same graphics settings used by flagship players they watch online, and the symptom is stutter specifically in the final ten players of a match when the most devices and effects are on screen at once. Mid-tier players sometimes assume 'mid-range' means no thermal limit exists, but the visible symptom of throttling on mid-range chips is identical to entry tier, just delayed by a few extra minutes.

How device tier interacts with sensitivity

A device that cannot hold a stable frame rate will make any sensitivity set feel inconsistent, since the camera update rate is effectively changing mid-match; always fix graphics and frame rate for your tier before using the generator, and re-run the generator if you later change frame rate settings for a different reason such as battery life.

Where tier guidance has limits

These RAM bands are rough groupings, not precise thresholds, and two phones with the same RAM figure can behave very differently depending on their chipset and cooling design, which this guide has no way of knowing without a specific model in front of it. Treat the tier as a starting point and adjust based on your own FPS counter readings rather than the RAM number alone.
