Testing memory routine on a real phone

Check your device's built-in memory or battery usage screen before and after closing background apps, since most Android phones show a rough percentage of RAM in use; play one match after the routine and one without it, keeping the FPS counter on, and compare the lowest frame rate reached during the busiest moment of each match.

Common mistakes with memory management

Clearing the game's cache immediately before every single match is a common habit, but it forces Free Fire to reload textures from scratch, and the symptom is a longer loading screen plus a stutter in the first minute of the match as assets rebuild, which is worse than the problem it was meant to solve. Force-stopping the game itself between matches, rather than just backgrounding it, can also cause a slower reload than simply letting it sit in the background.

What to check in game and system settings

Confirm auto-updates for other apps are paused during play, since an app updating in the background competes for the same memory and storage bandwidth the game needs, and this can produce a sudden stutter unrelated to anything happening in the match itself.

When RAM is not the real bottleneck

If frame drops happen consistently within the first thirty seconds of every match regardless of how much RAM is free, the cause is more likely graphics settings or a slow storage chip loading assets than available memory, and no amount of closing background apps will resolve it.
